When college freshman Dave, 19, told us in January that he wanted to achieve a ripped, muscular physique for his March Spring break, we were skeptical. To do that, this Varsity Wrestler and Baseball star would need to drop more than 30 pounds and create pure, sculpted muscle in less than 3 months. Dave assured us it wouldn't be a problem as he had to be in "Speedo" condition before he hit the beach in Miami. The Real Workouts Inc. production team took a big leap of faith and commenced filming a very chubby Dave in January. When Dave came back for the second shoot at the end of March, his transformation was simply extraordinary. In fact, this project turned out to be a "double transformation" experience. Dave was so focused on getting ripped that he didn't bother shaving his body while he was sculpting it. And so, we filmed Dave as he shaved his body, head to toe, immediately prior to the final gym workout. Other segments include: Dave's pre-match wrestle pump, photo shoot, shower flex, stretching and shirt-ripping (3 shirts!). And for those of you who enjoy intense flex sequences, this video is a real treat. Dave flexes more often and with more gusto than anyone we've ever filmed. We think Dave was equally amazed at his muscle popping transformation and simply couldn't help himself. He flexes before, after and sometimes even during each exercise he performs! Dave flexes in all three stages: chubby, unshaved desc1 ripped, and finally smooth desc1 muscular. All in all, one of the best and most unique videos we have ever produced.
